Bitmap (or raster) images are stored as a series of tiny dots called pixels. ... Unlike bitmaps, vector images are not based on pixel patterns, but instead use mathematical formulas to draw lines and curves that can be combined to create an image from geometric objects such as circles and polygons. We can print these files, however, the file needs to be at the actual image size at no less than 200dpi.
Vector graphics use mathematical equations to draw out your designs. These mathematical equations are translated into points that are connected by either lines or curves, also known as vector paths, and they make up all the different shapes you see in a vector graphic.
This allows vector graphics to be scaled to any size without sacrificing image quality as well as maintain a small file size. PDF, EPS, SVG and Ai compatible.
A .PSD file is a layered image file used in Adobe PhotoShop. PSD, which stands for Photoshop Document, is the default format that Photoshop uses for saving data. PSD is a proprietary file that allows the user to work with the images' individual layers even after the file has been saved. If you are looking for cut vinyl or CNC routed substrate, a PSD will not suffice.
Absolutely! We can print your hand drawn art but most likely will need to create a vector file first
If you search the internet for images, be sure your not infringing on someone's copyrights. When searching google be sure to select TOOLS... then SIZE... to LARGE for best results.
